In the Bhikshu Gita chapter of the Bhagavata, there is a verse about what brings happiness and sorrow to man:
ŚB 11.23.52
If the Atman is the cause of happiness and sorrow, then it is said: then the nature of the soul is what happiness and sorrow are. There is no substance other than the Atman in reality. If something else appears, it is not true. So why should we get angry with ourselves or others because of happiness or sadness?
Thus the Bhagavata conveys the Advaita principle of Vedanta: Nothing other than the Atman even exists in truth.
